Test

Well, I passed the test. Now we wait and see if I get the orders or not.

Time to get moving?

Our next move is about a year away now. I have started negotiating for our next set of orders. There is a set I am trying to get but I have to take a test to judge my aptitude for learning a foreign language. I have the test on the 24th, wish me luck!

The kids

Kaleb had a concert we had the opportunity to attend. This is his first year in band. He did pretty good.

Mia participated in her first grade concert. The songs were funny and she had a blast.

Brody finally received his quilt. Jennifer had been working on this for quite a while and she finally finished it. When apologizing for taking so long, he said, "It's OK, it was worth it."

Family time

We were blessed with a visit from my Uncle Owen and Aunt Shayla. They are so much fun to be around, we had a blast. Unfortunately it was a busy day (as normal) and we didn't get to spend as much time with them as we would have liked, which is why we are going to go visit them.

Marshmallow guns

This is what I came home to the other day. Hanging on the door from the garage to the house was a sign. In case you can't read, it says:

You are about to enter the biggest marshmallow fight ever. PS You better run!

My ammo was in the bag below the sign, and my gun (made from PVC tubing) was hanging next to the door.

We had our annual Hot Dog and Rod this weekend. Here are some cars from the event.






Mia ended up taking 3rd in the under 12 category. Brody was right behind her.
