Catching up

Some pictures to catch you up on our lives over the past few month.

Mia turned 6, and as any good princess does, she had a melt-down on her birthday.

After she re-composed herself we were able to get some pictures.

The kids celebrating their great grades with great ice cream.

A visit to Grandma and Grandpa D's house, where they were able to play with cousins, play in the snow, and go rock climbing.

Camping

Cascade park is a nearby church owned camp, commonly used for girls camp, which was in need of a good spring cleaning. We were given the opportunity to camp overnight for a small fee of manual labor the next day.

Arrival day. Our family, along with two others from our ward camped that night.

It got down to 31 degrees that night! Thank goodness for warm fires and hot chocolate.

Beautiful morning (top picture is from roughly the same location later in the day)

Earning our keep cleaning fire-pits

Enjoying the river before we went home. It got up to 65 by the time we left.

Mia is growing up

as evidence by her new facial hair.
She did this one all by herself. I was laughing when I saw it. A few weeks back she did something similar, but wrote HI on one cheek and BYE on the other.

windows to the soul

We were talking about eyes and of course everyone wanted to see their own, so I took pictures. Can you guess whose eye is whose?

Race Day

Kaleb participated in the annual pinewood derby again this year. For the first time I let him cut out his own car on the band saw. Good news, he still has all his fingers and thumbs. For the first time he actually came in first place, with his self named car... random car.

Brace face no more!

Kaleb is too funny!

So Emmi came up to me and showed me this piece of paper that Kaleb had written. I was laughing so hard! Funny kid.
