Work trip...

Had to leave on a short (hopefully) trip, so I am back in the land of the rising sun. With a little luck I will be home shortly. Anyone for some raw fish?

Another hard day at work

as you can see by the picture I took. We were flying east at 17,000 feet, looking south for the picture. Mount Rainier (14,411 feet tall) is the closest, Adams (12,281) is on the left (south-east) and Mount St. Helens (8,365) is on the right (south-west).

Yard work

Here's the stump we pulled from the back yard. Maybe one of these days I will actually get the hole filled in. I sure could have gone for a front loader when it came to moving this.

Brody is Eight!

Not only did Brody turn eight, but Great Grandma Nelson was able to come out for a visit.
Grandma seeing the tulips on a "less than ideal" day.

Brody opening his traditional eighth birthday scriptures and hymnal.

Catching up

Some pictures to catch you up on our lives over the past few month.

Mia turned 6, and as any good princess does, she had a melt-down on her birthday.

After she re-composed herself we were able to get some pictures.

The kids celebrating their great grades with great ice cream.

A visit to Grandma and Grandpa D's house, where they were able to play with cousins, play in the snow, and go rock climbing.

Camping

Cascade park is a nearby church owned camp, commonly used for girls camp, which was in need of a good spring cleaning. We were given the opportunity to camp overnight for a small fee of manual labor the next day.

Arrival day. Our family, along with two others from our ward camped that night.

It got down to 31 degrees that night! Thank goodness for warm fires and hot chocolate.

Beautiful morning (top picture is from roughly the same location later in the day)

Earning our keep cleaning fire-pits

Enjoying the river before we went home. It got up to 65 by the time we left.

Mia is growing up

as evidence by her new facial hair.
She did this one all by herself. I was laughing when I saw it. A few weeks back she did something similar, but wrote HI on one cheek and BYE on the other.
